FROM ROME

1. Take the motorway towards Civitavecchia. There the motorway ends and you'll automatically come on the SS1 towards Grosseto. Continue until the exit of Albinia and drive then towards Manciano/Pitigliano. 

2. When you arrive at Pitigliano, do not go towards the center, but in the direction of  Sovana. 

3. After approximately four kilometres you arrive at a crossing, where you should turn right towards Sorano. 

4. At the second crossing (only 100 m from the 1st away), turn left towards S. Valentino. You will go through a small group of houses, called Casarocchi. After 1 km take the 1st road left towards Località Valle Castagneta. Follow this road and after you've passed the houses of Valle Castagneta, turn left. After about 100 m you can see on the left-hand side an iron gate, the entrance of: Il Ciliegio.

 

FROM FLORENCE

1. Take the highway towards Siena.

2. From Siena take the direction to Roma (don't take the motorway).

3. Exit at Castellazzarra, S. Giovanni delle Contee and Sorano. 

4. After 200 m turn left towards S. Giovanni delle Contee and Sorano. 

5. At the crossing of Sordino turn right, always towards S. Giovanni and Sorano, continue always on this road, leaving on the left-hand side Castelmontorio. 

6. At a certain point you will arrive at a crossing. There you should turn right towards S. Valentino. 

7. 2 km after S. Valentino you will arrive again at a crossing, where you should turn right. 

8. After 50 m turn left towards Località Valle Castagneta. Follow this road and after you've passed the houses of Valle Castagneta, turn left. After about 100 m you can see on the left-hand side an iron gate, the entrance of: Il Ciliegio.

FROM PISA

1. Take the motorway towards Roma and exit at Rosignano.

2. Take the highway (SS1) into the direction of Grosseto/Roma.

3. After approximately 1 hour and a half (15 min. from Grosseto), take the exit at Albinia towards Manciano/Pitigliano. 

4. When you arrive at Pitigliano, do not go towards the center, but in the direction of  Sovana. 

5. After approximately four kilometres you arrive at a crossing, where you should turn right towards Sorano.
